OUR SOCIETAL GOALS OF A PHILANTHROPIC SUMMARISED BELOW
At Simply Seated we measure, reduce, and set targets to manage our carbon footprint.
Concern for the environment applies to all areas of our business and internal operations. While we are aware that our operations will always have some environmental footprint, we try our best to minimise it the best we can.
All of our dinnerware, furniture and linen are continuously reused and restored by our inhouse carpenters for a significantly long time prior to it reaching the end of its life with us.
If there is nothing else we can do to rehabilitate our products, they are sold to start a new life with someone else!
PAPER & INK FREE
Simply Seated is a 100% paperless company.
All communication, ordering and product catalogues are web-based and sent out via email to our clients. We have also invested in and created our own logistics and booking management system.
We are thrilled to say we are saving over 400 sheets of paper on a weekly basis which is an equivalent of 19 trees saved per year and thousands of drums of ink saved from landfill!
RECYCLING
We believe single-use plastic bottles should be a thing of the past, so we have free standing water coolers scattered throughout the warehouse and office to ensure all staff are always hydrated. We also provide glass bottles for guests when they visit the office. We have set a target of zero use of all single-use plastics by 2032.
At Simply Seated, we also encourage all our staff to participate in recycling programs to make a difference!

CHARITY EVENTS
Simply Seated proudly supports many charity foundations and has donated goods and services and contributed to many fundraising events. We have previously been involved in charity events for foundations including the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Rotary Club and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
